These are our upgraded larger side plates that provide better support for the A-frame. They extend 10" back further than our previous plates towards the cross member. If you bought a converter after August 1st, 2022 these were included as standard with your purchase and do not need to be upgraded. These are the plates only for upgrading from Gen-2 to Gen-3. If you have Gen-2 side plates already then you have all of the necessary hardware to upgrade to Gen-3. If you are upgrading from Gen-1 to Gen-3 then you will need extra hardware with your purchase which will add to the price.
